Polar Bear

Ursus maritimus

The polar bear lives in north polar regions; the color of its fur is white. Feeds on seals, fish, seabirds, and reindeer. It is one of the largest species in the family of bears (Ursidae).

This bear was a resident of the Chicago zoo, in 1998.
